Colonel Michael D. Reiner, Commander 423rd Air Base Group, presided over 426th Air Base Squadron Change of Command Ceremony on 21 June 2012.

Lieutenant Colonel Peter R Olsen relinquished command of the 426th Air Base Squadron (ABS), Stavanger, Norway. Lt Col Olsen and his wife, Tiffany, are now headed to RAF Croughton, located near Oxford, England, where he will assume command of 422nd Air Base Squadron.

Assuming command today is Lieutenant Colonel Harmen P. Visser. Lt Col Visser and his wife Teresa, join the 426 ABS family from Theater Engagement Directorate (J7), U.S. Southern Command. Joining Lt Col Visser and Teresa are their three children, Miranda, Hannah, and Xavier.
