The Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) on 20 June hosted a visit by Norwegian military lawyers as part of the programme of a three-day seminar held at Camp Vatne, south of Sandnes.

The total number of attendees was 45, the largest gathering to date for the community of Norwegian military lawyers. Among the visiting lawyers were Judge Advocate General Arne Willy Dahl of the MoD Legal Office, as well as lawyers from all branches and major headquarters of the Norwegian Armed Forces.

The visitors were briefed on topics such as JWC mission, new JWC facilities and NATO legal affairs, and displayed great interest. Being a small legal community, they were eager to learn and discuss how the NATO legal community functions, to include organization, regulations and information sharing.

Talking to the JWC PAO, Judge Advocate General Arne Willy Dahl on behalf of the visiting party expressed his appreciation to the JWC for organizing the visit, which he said had provided interesting and relevant information on the legal issues and the JWC mission alike.
