Training

JWC is the premier training establishment of the NATO Alliance: The Joint Warfare Centre provides the best training support possible for the collective training and certification of NATO's joint operational and component level Headquarters.
JWC plays a crucial role in training NATO members for ISAF duty as well as developing the capabilities and structures of the NATO Response Force (NRF). The aim is to ensure continued readiness of the NATO Command Structure (NCS) and NATO Force Structure (NFS).
The Centre delivers cutting edge joint operational training across all types of operations and support NATO's concept development and experimentation efforts. JWC is also building new areas of expertise such as Cyber Defence, Knowledge Development and Comprehensive Approach.
Since 2004, the Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) has trained more than 30,000 personnel for the full spectrum of joint operational warfare; either it prepared deploying units for their missions in Afghanistan or trained key staffs to serve within the NATO Response Force.
JWC annual Programme of Work:
- Two STEADFAST exercises
- Two ISAF Training Events
- Two International Augmentee Pre-Deployment Training (IAPDTs)
- Contribute to Lessons Learned Process
