French Air Force Lieutenant General Dominique de Longvilliers, Deputy Commander of NATO’s Allied Air Command, Ramstein, Germany, visited NATO’s Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) on 17-18 March.

During the official visit, Lieutenant General de Longvilliers met with German Army Major General Erhard Buehler, Commander JWC and held an office call to review a number of issues of mutual interest for both organizations.

The visit provided a great opportunity for exchanging views, knowledge and opinions as well as detailed updates on the upcoming training events and exercises, focusing on Air Command and Control across the full range of Alliance operations. During the visit, Lieutenant General Dominique de Longvilliers also had the opportunity to meet with JWC’s French contingent. The visit included a guided tour of the JWC’s state-of-the-art training facility and a working lunch hosted by Major General Buehler.

Lieutenant General Dominique de Longvilliers was appointed to his current position on 1 July 2013.
