Norwegian Air Force Lieutenant General Morten Haga Lunde, Commander Norwegian National Joint HQ, visited the Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) on Friday, 7 February.
Upon arrival, he was greeted by German Army Major General Erhard Buehler, Commander JWC, and key members of his staff for an office call. They discussed the full range of topics related to NATO’s training and exercise programme for the years ahead and identified key areas of development and cooperation.
“We had a good and constructive meeting,” Lieutenant General Morten Haga Lunde said, adding: “It gave us the opportunity to discuss matters of common interest and keep each other informed about what goes on in each other’s headquarters. It will also contribute to the development of high quality exercise and training scenarios that are useful to both Norway’s defence and within the Alliance.”
