A delegation of four officers from the Portuguese Armed Forces Chief of Defence, Joint Operational Situation Centre, visited the Joint Warfare Centre on 10 April.

The delegation was led by Colonel Diogo Maria Velloso. The purpose of the visit was to gather knowledge from JWC on how it sets up Joint Operational Centres during NATO exercises. The visit provided valuable information as the Portuguese SITCEN is currently conducting an internal process of restructuring and rationalization. The Portuguese delegation has visited other relevant centres and counterparts before coming to JWC, the latest one was the Norwegian Joint Headquarters in Bodoe.
