STAVANGER, Norway – The Romanian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, H.E. Cristian Marius Bădescu, visited NATO's Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) on Monday, March 7, 2022.

The Ambassador was warmly welcomed to the Centre by Major General Piotr Malinowski, Commander JWC.

During his visit, Ambassador Bădescu had an office call with Major General Malinowski and received a series of briefings to learn more about the mission of the JWC as NATO's footprint in the North, responsible for planning, developing, and delivering operational- and strategic-level training and exercises that challenge NATO Command and Force Structure headquarters, while simultaneously supporting NATO’s evolving warfare development efforts.

Additionally, the visit programme included a guided tour of the JWC’s state-of-the-art training facility.

Before his departure, Ambassador Bădescu also met with the Romanian civilian and military personnel working at the JWC.
