Mr. Jean-Dominique Dulière, NATO's Head Crisis Response Systems and Exercises Section, accompanied by Mr. Peter Hauge Berg from the same office, visited Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) on Monday, 29 September.

On arrival they were greeted by German Army Major General Reinhard Wolski, Commander JWC and U.S. Air Force Brigadier General Roger H. Watkins, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff. The visit started off with an office call with the Commander and continued with a series of briefings about JWC-directed Article 5 exercises, their planning phases and overall conduct, as well as an in-depth look into scenario development. During the visit both parties had the opportunity to exchange views and identify areas for future cooperation and synergies. "We know the Centre by reputation and it is a great occasion for us to discover it in real," said Mr. Dulière.

The official visit also included a guided tour of the JWC's state-of-the-art training facility, particularly the two Combined Joint Operations Centres and the TV Studio.
